Want to give you an update since this was filmed. At that time, many Romance Scammers came from Ghana and Nigeria. Today, they can come from all over the world. The ways they scam you are still the same as in this video.

To stay safe . . .

  • Limit email exchanges to 9-10 short emails
  • No more than 2 phone calls. (the more you talk with a scammer, the more he will find out about you to connect with your heart so limit those calls.)
  • Meet within 2-3 weeks of initial contact on the dating site. If he says he’s working out of the country or is on an oil rig or in the military, tell him, he is welcome to contact you when he’s living back in your area again.

This strategy can keep you safe from scammers if you follow it.

Also, not sure if a man is a scammer?

Julie Natashaway from Aste.io has helped many of my clients stay safe by doing background checks on the men they are talking with.

She was nearly scammed herself and created her business to protect women.

Tomorrow we’ll be talking about…

Looking forward to talking with you then
