The Scoop about Men’s Pictures Online after 50
This weekend my boyfriend and I were having dinner with two other couples.
As we sat around the table laughing and talking about everything from the latest movies we’d seen to politics, I took a really good look at the other two men at the table.
Both were interesting, successful men.
Neither was that cute.
One looked older than he was and the other – well he looked a bit nerdy.
I’d known them for years and both are wonderful men who are engaging, warm and fun to be around.
So why do I share this story with you?
Because it’s so easy to make snap decisions about the men you see online.
Here’s the scoop on this . . . Some men just don’t photograph well.
Yet, if you’d met him in real life, you might have thought he was cute having gotten a glimpse of his personality.
Chances are the combination of his looks and personality would have made him go up on the “attractiveness scale.”
Most women are looking for a really good looking guy online.
Some of these men are handsome beyond belief.
When they are, chances are you are looking right into the eyes of a scammer.

Here’s what I’d like you to do next time you’re online . . . and I know it might not sit well with you BUT . . . give the not as good-looking guy a chance.
Check out his profile to see what he’s up too.
See if some of his interests match some of yours.
Is his smile warm even if his looks aren’t a 10 on a 1-10 scale?
Do his pictures show you something about his personality?
And keep in mind the story I shared about the two guys at the dinner table who would have been rejected over and over again by women online for their looks.
Yet both are awesome men and really good to the woman in their lives.
Go back online and take a second look at some of the men you’ve passed over.
They could be amazing boyfriends and ever so sexy once you get to know them.
