The Surest Way To Stay Safe Online
I love teaching women how to find love with a good man. Yet one of the biggest challenges they face are scammers that prey on women at online dating sites.
My friend Julie Nashawaty created Aste after nearly being scammed by a guy who was on his way to prison. She didn’t want another woman to have to go through that harrowing experience on her own.
Today, her company’s goal is to verify that your online date truly is who he says he is. BTW….Aste is the only human powered solution leading the fight against online dating fraud.
In the video below, Julie and I are going to share with you the surest ways to stay safe dating online. If you aren’t sure about a man you’re dating, you can reach out to Julie at: www.aste.io | contact@aste.io
Hi,
I received a lot of those crazy letters especially on match.com…one even was calling me from a California number but claimed to be overseas on business in Thailand. A sure giveaway is when the language in the emails does not match their verbal skills, or they claim to be from one country but have an accent from a different country. My question is is your service available to Canadians?
Thanks
Joanne
Hi Joanne…
Yes you are so write about their verbal versus written skills. Its why they get you to the phone quickly so it doesn’t appear tp be so obvious. Click the links to ask Julie that question about helping Canadians too. Hugs~
Also got scam too, by a man whom he aaid ,he was an engineer, that his money got stock in a bank in an Asean country.I blocked him immediately. He court for one week though before asking to help me with some amount of money. Its scary. Thanks for your mission awareness.
Good for you Maja for recognizing a scammer so quickly. It saved you a lot of heartache emotionally and financially. Lots of hugs~
Its should be “…before asking me to help him with some amount …”
I have been scammed for two years and this man left me broken hearted it
I’m so sorry Monica. Scammers know this and that’s why they hook your heart so quickly by getting you to the phone. Here’s one of my Huffington Post articles that will give you more tips on staying safe. How To Protect Yourself Form Online Dating Scammers.
Stay safe~
Oh my! I have sure had the scammers in the last two years! I recognized many of the things you talked about. I will Definitely use your service!

You are so welcome Denise. Glad you enjoyed it and hope it keeps you safe in the future. Hugs~
Hi everyone! It’s Julie from Aste! Thank you so much for all the positive feedback on my service, I was so frustrated that no one was doing anything that I took matters into my own hands. If you ever need a gut check or want to verify the profile of the person you’re talking to, know we’re always here for you.
Joanne: We are available in Canada 🙂 The only limiting factor is English so as long as we can communicate we’re good to go.
Thanks again Lisa for bringing this to your amazing women!
Love and light,
Julie
ps: If anyone ever wants to directly email me, you can at julie@aste.io – I’d love to talk.
Hi Lisa,
I do enjoy your newsletter, thank you. In two months of ourtime.com I have had 4 men who, of course, will tell you they live in one city, working on a business project in another city and their mobile phone area code shows a third state – typically in the South. Two said they speak with an accent because they were raised in a military base “X” country as a child and they learned to speak German first because they grew up in Germany and chances are their father was an officer.
They all appear to be late 50s/early 60s and they are slick. One event you think they are just doing their white collar job in Chicago and that would not set off alarms but once it happened twice, thrice and four times I got suspicious. One guy, after 2 emails, was ready to relocate from Florida to Oregon and find his “true love” with me – nope, not that stupid. And, they all have a nice photo but not those male-model shots that some have.
One guy had an email that sounded official, like “US-Defense-Services.com” Try the URL and there’s no URL… no company URL using the domain name from the email address and they all claimed that they worked on government contracts as a security specialist or some version of “security” work. I now block any men with this story after the first phone call. They are slick and they have it all down pat.
Thought I would add this to your list.
Lola
Thank you Lola. So appreciate you mentioned this. Hugs~
