I want to both be respected and be cherished. I don’t want to be the ‘alpha’ and be in charge. But that doesn’t mean I want to be disrespected. I, too, have had a quality education and a successful career, and I am as much of a quality woman as he is a quality man. So why would cherish and respect be exclusive. I would think they would need to be mutual.( at least that’s how it was in my marriage) I will respect and cherish him and would want the same in return. What’s wrong with that?

Men naturally respect women unless you give them a reason not to. An Alpha man needs your respect to be in a relationship with you. When a woman doesn’t respect a man, the man feels less than in her eyes. It’s a cycle…you respect him, he cherishes you, and he respects you, you cherish him.
